It is the sincere pleasure of the Board of Directors of the 36th District Agricultural Association and the State of California, that we welcome you to the 137th Annual Dixon May Fair. The 2012 fair theme is "This is My Country" for 4 fun filled days. Dixon May Fair has been the longest continually running fair in California since 1875.
As our Country's leading economic resource is agriculture and Dixon is still a traditional farming community, we pride ourselves on showcasing and haring the individual and collective efforts of agricultural families, communities and organizations throughout California. Thanks to the many donors to the Dixon May Fair, our hometown fair offers something for all ages, from interior living, still life exhibits, agricultural mechanics, art shows and auctions, youth art & craftsexhibits, animal shows and auction, hands on science exhibits for children, carival rides, gift vendors, a variety of food, music entertainment, to a Sunday Mother's Day Demolition Derby.
Our commitment is the assure you a fair you can look forward to each year. The Dixon May Fair is an annual event that you may always expect pleasant surprises and a lot of fun.
